You can cancel your subscription anytime by emailing billing@foolsafe.com. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase.
When your credits run low, you'll receive a warning. Once credits reach zero, AI responses and transcription will pause until your subscription renews (credits refresh monthly) or you purchase additional credits. Study Resources remain accessible even with zero credits.
Audio and screen capture data is processed in real-time and is NOT permanently stored on our servers. Your session transcripts are stored for 90 days for your reference, then automatically deleted. We never share or sell your data to third parties.
FoolSafe uses system-level APIs to make the overlay window invisible to screen capture software. On Windows, this uses the WDA_EXCLUDEFROMCAPTURE display affinity flag. On macOS, it uses setContentProtection. This means the app is visible to you but won't appear in screen recordings or shared screens.

Subscriptions purchased on foolsafe.com automatically sync with the desktop app. Simply sign in to the app with the same Google account you used on the website, and your credits will be available immediately.
1. Ensure your microphone is connected and working in other apps. 2. Check your system privacy settings to allow FoolSafe microphone access. 3. On Windows: Settings → Privacy → Microphone → Allow apps to access your microphone. 4. On macOS: System Preferences → Security & Privacy → Privacy → Microphone. 5. Try restarting the app after granting permissions.
We offer refunds within 7 days of purchase if you're unsatisfied with the service. Contact billing@foolsafe.com with your account email and reason for the refund request. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days.
